These terms govern your use of ALevelEconLab, operated by Ethan Ansell and George Richardson. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. What the site provides
ALevelEconLab offers revision materials, practice questions, interactive diagrams, calculators, flashcards, progress tracking, leaderboards, the Voranomics learning game, a grade predictor, and related learning tools for A-Level Economics students. The service is provided for educational revision only.
2. Edexcel / Pearson disclaimer
Content is aligned to the Pearson Edexcel A-Level Economics specification for study purposes. ALevelEconLab is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Pearson, Edexcel, or any examination board.
Pearson and Edexcel are trademarks of their respective owners. We do not use their logos or imply official partnership. Always refer to official specification and past papers for examinations.
3. Open Government data
Some UK economic data displayed on the site is sourced from public statistics and may be used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We acknowledge the original publishers (such as the Office for National Statistics) where applicable. Our charts, commentary, and presentation of that data remain our own work unless stated otherwise.
4. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to register.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person per account — do not share login credentials.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to break, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the site
- Upload malicious code or interfere with other users
- Misuse leaderboards or game features (e.g. cheating, impersonation)
- Copy or redistribute substantial parts of the site for commercial use without permission
- Use the site in any way that breaks applicable law
6. Intellectual property
The site design, original revision text, questions, diagrams, branding, and software are owned by Ethan Ansell and George Richardson unless otherwise stated. © Ethan Ansell and George Richardson 2026. All rights reserved.
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial revision. You must not reproduce or publish our original content as your own teaching or commercial product without written permission.
7. Practice marking and grade tools
Automated marking, XP, badges, and the grade predictor are indicative only. They do not guarantee exam grades and are not official Edexcel marking. The grade predictor is for fun and motivation — not a forecast of your actual result. Always check work against mark schemes and teacher feedback.
8. Leaderboards
Leaderboards may show your name and scores publicly unless you enable privacy in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or remove features at any time. Use of cookies and optional analytics is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the site, including exam results, data loss, or indirect damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Data & privacy. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
